Miranda Homestead Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation at Miranda in the country 1 hour from Auckland International Airport and is at the entrance to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.

Your host is Ellie Vette.  Ellie is a trained nurse and previously an international flight attendant, and has recently written her autobiography "8 Days a Week".

Here are some of our latest reviews:

  • “Ellie is a superb host. Breakfast very flexible based on dietary requirements. Very open to last minute changes of plan. Ellie seemed genuinely interested in what we were doing and apart from that she is a well- traveled broad minded person who conversed on may topics and levels. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Best place that I have stayed in NZ so far......”
  • “Ellie the host is a wonderful person very friendly and wonderful to talk too. Highly reccomend this place for peace and serenity”
  • “The hostess was delightful. The linens were exceptional. This is supremely comfortable lodging. We were there to do some birdwatching and our arrival and departure was facilitated by our hostess. Her grounds are very inviting and her tea delightful with specialty honeys from the region.”
